A disparate group of salvaged elements were reconfigured to create this bar cart originally produced for The Stop’s Night Market. A bed frame taken from the dumpster near our studio became the basic structure to which two defunct bikes from the local scrap yard were attached. Handles from a long-departed wheelbarrow were secured to the bikes along with scrap wood to create the base. The top was made from elm taken down next to the Dufferin Grove combined with hard maple. Brothers Dressler use local, reclaimed, found and responsibly harvested materials, working to promote a return to local manufacturing to make long lasting heirloom objects.
