With the huge success of TRON 209, Bruno Billio re-invented it for the Power Plant's Powerball and at Campbell House for one of Nuit Blanche’s most visited installations. For this year’s CUTMR Billio re-invents his space once again as a new experience of black light, object, sound and explosive movement.
Bruno Billio is a self-taught artist working from an interdisciplinary background. At once an installation artist, a sculptor, and a designer, Billio creates challenging works informed by his command of each of these practices. The everyday is reinterpreted through its spatial and contextual re-appropriation by the artist, interventionist and an inventor by de-familiarizing the everyday object. Billio has exhibited nationally and internationally.
