Chair Project

These six prototypes were designed, digitally fabricated and assembled by Humber College ITAL 3rd year Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) students. Students were required to produce 1:1 scale prototypes of their chair designs for studio and digital communications courses. Research and application of digital fabrication methods such as CNC milling, laser cutting and 3D printing was required to successfully execute their designs. Unique detailing and assembly methods were also explored using plywood and acrylic. Professors: Elizabeth Fenuta M.Arch, RAIC, Hons. BAS & Craig Crane M.A., B.Tech., NCIDQ
