Ryerson Artspace presents Archestra | Art Bar

Ripple is a poetic yet playful embodiment of the notion that we can achieve more together than alone, that every action creates a ripple effect. It is a giant collective instrument from which melodies emerge through collaboration. The installation encourages movement of the whole body and stimulates ownership of the space by you, the user. Whether choreographed or chaotic, together users create a composition of sounds, lights and movement. We are devoted to providing an immersive, dynamic, user-created experience.

Ryerson Artspace (est. 1990) is a student & faculty run gallery affiliated with the School of Image Arts at Ryerson University. Along with faculty advisor and director Robyn Cumming, the space is run by five student employees, along with several interns and volunteers. Ryerson Artspace primarily exhibits work from current students and recent alumni with an engagement in, but not limited to, contemporary art practices.
