Without a doubt, the all-time coolest teen bedroom belonged to Ferris Bueller, and we intend to recreate it. The Cabaret Voltaire and Simple Minds posters, the snore recording, the keyboard that coughs, the mannequin in the bed that turns over when the door opens… EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL. Visitors can check on how Ferris is feeling, bring flowers and see if he'd like some chicken soup. Part re-creation, part marathon scavenger hunt, this installation will immerse viewers in a setting oddly familiar, yet distant in both time and space.

The Racket Club is the creative collaboration between Sarah Keenlyside and Joseph Clement. They are both filmmakers and artists. Sarah is an associate producer for CBC TV’s weekly arts show “Exhibitionists,” and also creates temporary art projects for events like Nuit Blanche and CUTMR. Joseph is a trained landscape architect-turned filmmaker working on his first feature doc about Toronto’s Integral House. Their work is inspired by the relationship between individuals and environments.
