'Ferris Forever'

Sarah Keenlyside first recreated Ferris Bueller's bedroom in extreme detail for CUTMR 2016. The room ignited a media and fan frenzy – over 10,000 visitors saw it in Toronto, Chicago, and Niagara Falls in the 9 days it was open to the public. While touring with the installation, she partnered with director Ryan Mains on "Ferris Forever," a virtual reality version of the room. CUTMR 2018 seemed like the ideal time and place to bring it back in its new form. The project is generously supported by Hollywood Suite.

Sarah Keenlyside is an artist, filmmaker, and co-owner of Restaurant La Banane and CXBO Chocolates. Her work is immersive and often employs props, set design, video elements and actor or audience participation to evoke extreme nostalgia and disrupt the viewers sense of time and place.
