Void Engineers

Void Engineers | public space

Void Engineers is an exploratory design co-operative composed of third year students from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. Through our practice, we seek to explore how human interaction within a defined space can be heightened and altered through immersive responsive environments and a combination of architectural theory and technology.

Interface, planned for installation in the alcove of the Gladstone Hotel, is an immersive setting in which space and time are distorted, repeated and invented. Users will enter and activate the space, approaching a surface which acts as an interface between different layers of time and dimensionality, both reflecting its current environment and projecting an alternate vision.
