Breathing Reverie

‘Breathing Reverie’ is an experiential installation hiding in plain sight in the Gladstone corridors. It is a cut in space, a luminous landscape straining towards a breathing horizon. A team of architectural designers and artists have collaborated in the construction of this piece. Ya’el Santopinto’s work explores spatial politics and alternative modes of design practice. Farhan Durrani’s research interests lie in investigating theoretical analysis of space, materiality/immateriality and formal expressions through cinema and photography. Maryam Karimi’s artistic endeavors involve theory, poetry, sculpture and sociopolitical psychology.
