Hodgson’s room… “A box filled with mania… creatures, madreal.com things and stuff…”

Derrick Hodgson is a Toronto based artist and illustrator. He focuses on the application and development of character design. The majority of Hodgson’s imagery is based on his experiences growing up in a small rural community north
of Toronto and relating these experiences to the expanding urban environment. His recent work deals with a theme of rural meets urban and the urge to gain control over our future in relation to an escalating loss of nature.
